Welcome to LuluBeeandKewi.com – Nurturing Saints within our Community
At LuluBee and Kewi, we're committed to fostering the growth and development of the young souls in our community. As children embark on their journey of self-discovery, they may encounter moments of doubt and uncertainty about their unique gifts and their divine identity as Children of the Most High God. We believe it's crucial to remind them of their inherent worth and potential as creations of Our Heavenly Father.
To empower children with this knowledge, we've designed engaging activities that allow parents to share in this journey of self-discovery with their little ones. These activities not only strengthen the parent-child bond but also create a safe space for children to open up and express their true selves.
1-Hour Parent-Child Empowerment Activity: "Discovering Your Unique Light"
In this one-hour interactive session, parents and children can embark on a meaningful adventure together. It's an opportunity for parents to help their children recognize and embrace their individuality, talents, and divine nature. Here's a breakdown of the activity:
1. Share Stories of Heroes: Begin by sharing stories of inspirational individuals who used their unique talents and gifts to make a positive impact in the world. For example, talk about Thomas Edison's inventive mind, or the compassion of Mother Teresa. Discuss how these individuals discovered their gifts and used them to bless others.
2. Create a Vision Board: Provide magazines, scissors, glue, and poster boards. Encourage your child to create a vision board filled with images and words that represent their aspirations, interests, and talents. This visual representation can help them identify what makes them unique.
3. "I Am" Affirmations: Together, create a list of positive affirmations, starting with "I am." For example, "I am kind," "I am creative," "I am loved." Have your child repeat these affirmations aloud to reinforce their self-worth.
4. Share Personal Experiences: Open up about your own journey of self-discovery. Share moments when you felt uncertain but eventually discovered your strengths and talents. This vulnerability can encourage your child to do the same.
5. Artistic Expression: Encourage your child to express themselves artistically through drawing, painting, or crafting. Ask them to create something that represents who they are, such as a self-portrait or a symbol of their unique qualities.
6. Listen Actively: Take time to actively listen to your child. Ask open-ended questions and let them express their thoughts, dreams, and concerns. Be patient and non-judgmental, creating an environment where they feel safe sharing.
7. Celebrate Uniqueness: End the session by celebrating each other's uniqueness. Highlight the qualities and talents you admire in your child, and let them share what they appreciate about you.
By participating in this one-hour activity, parents not only strengthen their connection with their children but also lay the foundation for a lifetime of self-confidence, self-expression, and faith in their divine identity. Together, we're building up Saints in our community, one empowering moment at a time.
