"Frida: Another Reflection of God's Beauty in Woman" is a tribute to the strength and grace that Frida Kahlo embodied. Although our perspectives may differ, her boldness and unwavering spirit have always inspired me.

Created in 2016 while I was living in Lawrenceville, Georgia, this piece also expresses my longing for the cultural vibrancy of my Mexican heritage, which I had left behind in Tucson, Arizona. The colors in this work are deeply influenced by my father’s roots in Mexico City, offering a vivid celebration of Mexican culture and God-given beauty.
