A bold, graphic design, with Aztec undertones for a cultural feel.
Soft enough to lay baby on the floor & warm enough to snuggle them up in. Makes a simply sweet floor mat or an adorable blanket. This original modern design is simply sweet enough for a nursery or sophisticated enough as a throw.
Why Black and (off) White?
Newborns can see from birth, just not as clearly as an older child or adult. Until your child is about six months of age, he will respond best to bold, contrasting colors and graphics. That’s why it’s important to provide your baby with toys that feature the visual extremes of bold colors such as bright red, yellow, blue, black and white. These high-contrast colors will captivate and hold baby’s attention, encouraging visual development as well as physical activity – like wiggling, kicking, and arm waving. Causing stimulation. In addition, babies who are stimulated reach developmental milestones faster, have better muscle coordination, and a more secure self image.
BUT PLEASE NOTE: Although the color scheme is great for babies growth and development, it is never a good idea to leave pillows or blankets in your infants crib without supervision. Since they lack the muscle strength to move it off of their mouth and nose.
